The SEA Teacher Project or the Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia is a project by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education in collaboration with multiple universities across different countries in Southeast Asia. The project aims to provide opportunity for pre-service student teachers from universities in Southeast Asia to have teaching experiences (practicum) in schools in other countries in Southeast Asia (SEAMEO).
The project is divided into two batches; Regular Batch, which includes multiple universities from the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam; and the Pilot Batch, which includes universities from the Philippines (Central Luzon State University), Japan (University of Tsukuba), Indonesia (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia), and Thailand (Khon Kaen University).
